HELLO! and
welcome to www.radiochildren.com
... a new wave in free children and family
entertainment. Where CHILDREN (6-17yrs) take the helm, make the news
and conduct interviews.
With the help of the British Museum, V+A, Science Museum,
Tate, London Zoo, Soil Association, Ecologist Magazine, Friends of
the Earth, and pals in music and film, we have made programmes
since JULY 2006.
HOW TO GET TO OUR PROGRAMMES: Click
on the ‘MILO BOY’ above and he will dive down the helter
skelter taking you to RADIO CITY. When you’ve landed you
can go anywhere with a click – a WILDLIFE SANCTUARY, SCIENCE
BLOCK, HISTORY TOWER, ENVIRONMENTAL SPACE, SPORTS POINT, LIBRARY, THEATRE,
GALLERY AND ARENA (where we put interviews with wonderful
people who don’t fit in anywhere else, like Witches, Druids,
wound-up Mothers etc). Everywhere there are little stories and
interviews relevant to their location, to listen to or watch. And
Music.
Once you are in the RADIO CITY, the Navigation Bar
at the bottom of the screen has a GET PODCAST button. Press
that, and you’ll find a list of the programmes Radio Children
have made for you to listen to or watch. We
put new PODCASTS and VODCASTS up for you on the 12th of each month,
bringing you News, the Bizarre, the Ridiculous with competitions and
prizes, and links to other great sites.
THIS MONTH we bring you Radio Children 7 (RC8), and in the show:
